So you probably wondering how the story end, well it ends in the iconic York Hall, Bethnal Green, London. And sadly it didn’t work out for me…

The final steps were to announce a fighter at the public workout for the up coming NXT GEN show, a few days before the big night… Good I was nervous that day, and must have shown it to, I went off OK, just OK!

Afterwards we were dropped in front of the camera of Kugan Cassius, I’ll let you watch it rather than tell you about it… Watch the IFL TV interview here

We waited, and waited and finally we got to goto the York Hall, and find out who won… At this point I really want to thank all the supporters out there, the love was greatly appreciated!

Eddie and Adam from sky sports jumped into the ring, we all followed, but sadly my name was the one called I was heart broken, believing I was now finally good enough to take on the professional game, that after years of working on the brand, image and performance, now was my moment, but was not meant to be.

Wish Ben every success with the next stage of the competition and Trynity with everything in her future…

But hey, every cloud has a silver lining, this has given me the push and confidence to move forward so I’ve submitted my application to the board, to become a professional master of ceremonies, and I have had the little green rules book and the interview date is set. My MC Academy journey continues a minor set back on the road, has not deterred me and I will push forward with it, and I’ll keep you all posted on my progress! I will MC for top UK boxing and then the world.
